Terms
and Conditions.
These
are the conditions of booking for our short break tour packages
and day excursions. The contract between EVENTS PLUS (Norwich)
Ltd and the purchaser is made on the terms outlined herein:
Who
we are: Events Plus (Norwich) is a tours and event
management business. Our registered address is: 3, The Norwich
Business Park, Whiting Road, Norwich NR4 6DJ.

Bookings:
The contract between Events Plus & the customer is made
when your booking is entered on to our computer and a booking
reference number is produced. At that moment the contract
between us begins. We will send you confirmation,
together with your ticket and tour itinerary within 48 hours.
Please check it carefully to ensure all the details are
correct and inform us immediately of any errors. The contract
appertains to all persons named on the booking form. Please

Prices:
All prices are in Sterling (GBP). Although we will do our
best to hold prices at the original price stated in our
promotional material, brochure or fliers, this may not always
be possible. The price of your travel arrangements is subject
to changes for variation in transportation costs e.g. fuel,
and Government action such as increases in VAT, or any other
Government imposed increases.
Events Plus (Norwich) will absorb an amount up to 2% of
any such increase. Only amounts in excess of 2% will be
surcharged to the customer. If this results in am overall
increase of more than 10% of the excursion price, you will
be entitled to cancel with a full refund subject to Events
Plus (Norwich) receiving notification in writing.
Theatre
tickets and admission to attractions: Once any
such tickets have been purchased, no such refund can be
given. We cannot be held responsible for the non-appearance
of any advertised actors/actresses.
Reservations
and Payment:
For 1 day excursion packages: Full payment is required
at the time of booking. All cheques are to be made payable
to ‘’Events Plus (Norwich).’’ A
receipt, confirmation, together with your ticket and tour
itinerary will be sent to you within 48 hours.
At present, we cannot accept credit card payments. Payment
will include admission to any venue or attraction which
is wholly or partly the purpose of the excursion as set
out in our advertising, website and itinerary. Places are
limited, so please book as soon as possible.
For short break tour packages: A deposit of 20% is
required at the time of booking. The balance of payment
must be made in full no later than 4 weeks before the start
of the holiday. For bookings made within 4 weeks of the
start date, the full holiday price must be paid at the time
of booking. If you do not pay the balance of the holiday
price at the prescribed time Events Plus (Norwich) reserves
the right to cancel the booking and apply the cancellation
charges set out below.
Cancellations or alterations by Events Plus (Norwich):
For short break tour packages: Events Plus (Norwich)
reserve the right to modify or cancel any scheduled short
break tours at any time up to 4 weeks before departure.
We will inform you of any major changes in writing. In the
event of cancellation you will receive a full refund, unless
we can offer an alternative that you are happy with.
For 1 day excursion packages: Each Events Plus (Norwich)
day excursion is subject to a minimum number of persons
travelling. Notification of any excursion cancellation will
always be given no later than 7 days before departure.
Cancellations or alterations by the customer:
For short break tour packages: Cancellation of a
booking can only be accepted in writing. Cancellation charges
will be made according to this schedule: Cancellation more
than 56 days before holiday: 20% of the total cost with
a minimum of £30 per person.
Cancellation more than 21 days before holiday: 50% of the
total cost.
Cancellation more than 8 days before holiday: 75% of the
total cost.
Cancellation 8 days or less before the start of your holiday:
100% of the total cost. No refund can be given for cancellation
on the day the holiday starts or whilst on holiday.
For 1 day excursion packages: If you wish to cancel
your booking for an excursion, you will need to do so in
writing to be received by Events Plus (Norwich) no later
than 7 days before the date of the excursion. Only in these
circumstances will a full refund be payable. No refund is
payable thereafter. After acceptance of the booking, if
you request an alteration to the confirmed arrangements,
where it is possible for us to make these alterations, an
amendment fee may be charged.
What is included in your tour? Details
of each individual day excursion and short stay package
are set out in our advertising, itineraries and on our website.
Special
Requests: Any special requests must be made in
writing at the time of booking. We will do our best to fulfil
these requests but we cannot guarantee that they will be
met.
Date
of departure and collection timings: These are
subject to change or cancellation, should unforeseen circumstances
occur. We will advise you of the departure time and point
on receipt of your booking and payment. All persons travelling
on any excursion must report to the coach no later than
15 minutes before the departure time. We cannot offer any
refunds for missed departures. Before boarding the coach
you must produce your excursion ticket for inspection by
the driver or Events Plus (Norwich) representative. You

Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted on any coaches used for excursions
or local tours.
Children:
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
We do not offer any reductions for children.
Accommodation: We will always do our best
to arrange your accommodation in accordance with our advertising
and your booking requirements. However, in some locations
the amount and type of accommodation is limited, so occasionally
some of the details may have to be altered from those advertised
and/or requested. Unless you inform us otherwise at the
time of booking we will assume that twin beds are an acceptable
alternative to a double. Please note that single supplements
apply and the cost can be given on request.
Anti-Social Behaviour: If you, or a member
of your party, are persistently disruptive or seriously
affect the enjoyment of other holidaymakers, we have the
right to terminate the contract. In such circumstances we
will have no further obligations or liability to you.
Liability: Events Plus (Norwich) accepts
no responsibility for, and shall not be liable in respect
of loss, damage or any additional expenses or changes caused
by ‘force majeure’ events such as strikes, political
unrest, industrial action, natural disasters, freak weather
conditions, fire, closures of railway stations or roads
or events beyond its control such as the cancellation of
a concert, show or event. Any other liability shall not
exceed twice the basic price of your excursion ticket. In
the event of undue delay beyond our control where overnight
accommodation becomes necessary, we will be unable to pay
the cost of such accommodation. Such cost should be covered
by travel insurance.
Personal Insurance: Whilst we take every
care for passengers luggage and possessions, we cannot accept
responsibility for any loss or damage which may occur. We
do recommend you take out travel insurance. Personal holiday
insurance to cover illness, injury, personal belongings
and cancellation is strongly recommended. You should also
consider if you need cancellation insurance to cover non
returnable deposits in the event of ill health or other
unforeseen circumstances.
Lost Property: Whilst every effort is made
to return lost property, Events Plus (Norwich) cannot be
held responsible for property left on the coach. Property
found must be collected from the office of the coach operator
carrying out the excursion.
Complaints
Procedure: We welcome feedback (both positive and
negative) on all aspects of our holidays so we can maintain
continuous improvement. If you are unhappy or dissatisfied
with any aspect of the services provided by Events Plus
(Norwich) please telephone us as soon as possible, so that
action can be taken to remedy the problem. Any complaint
made to Events Plus (Norwich) after the holiday should be
made in writing within 15 days of return.
Terminating
your holiday/ day excursion:
If you choose to terminate your holiday of your own volition
for whatever reason, Events Plus (Norwich) will not be liable
for any additional expenses incurred and no refunds will
be given for any part of the holiday not taken.
Luggage
Restrictions: A maximum of one suitcase weighing
no more than 20kg and one piece of hand luggage. If you
do carry more than this allowance we cannot guarantee that
we will be able to accommodate the excess baggage.
Safety:
The responsibility for ensuring the safety of the party
rests solely with the party itself. We cannot accept bookings
for any person under the age of 16 unaccompanied by a parent
or legal guardian.
Special
Needs: Please advise us in advance or any special
needs you may have in writing when making your booking eg.disabilities.
Consumer Protection
In order to comply with European Union and UK Package Travel
Regulations, Events Plus (Norwich) is insured through Bond
Plus Protection Scheme which means, in the very unlikely
event of Events Plus (Norwich) going into liquidation, your
payment will be refunded. This policy only covers the items
listed and is not a general holiday insurance policy. We
strongly recommend that you take out such insurance prior
to your holiday with us.
